Please accept my late photo!! You all know that I had many choosen as shown in my 'teams' thread.. I had a major family emergency that I don't feel I really must explain. However, I am here now and you all know me from all past seasons, that I always ask for an extenstion OR post in time. I am begging for forgiveness!!   I feel that sand is the most earthy as you can get as it is part of the earth.  |

Adele: 17 minutes late. I don't have problem with that 17 minutes, but I'm not sure with other judges. Beautiful styling. Great execution. You did such a wonderful job this week.

Natalie: Shit came up for me as Mariah last cycle, and I ultimately ended up not submitting a photo. I didn't feel the need to explain myself either, and everyone seemed understanding that life comes before this game. I don't mind 17 minutes late, either.
Having said that, I do like this photo. I wish that you were a little more relaxed, maybe? It's just not as calm is it could be, but overall I think it's a really good photo. It has strong modelling aspects and clearly relates to the theme.

Amanda: It's round one, you're active, you're awesome, and it's only 17 minutes. Who the heck cares if you're late due to something that came up? I sure don't. You're fine This is just okay. You look great, but your eye makeup is overdone. Your hair is fantastic and the sand is earthy, and some of your samples were better. This isn't bad, at least - it's memorable enough to get you through but not memorable enough to hit a home run. It's not as earthy as it could be, but Earth -is- there. I love the styling, and I still can't get over your hair. It looks AMAZING here and that's enough to do well. There's just... something missing, but if I can't tell what it is, you're good. |

Hayley: It wasn't hours late, and since this is the first shoot, we can't determine whether or not this would be habitual from you (cause if it happens repeatedly, then I'd have a problem), so this time, I won't let it affect my ranking.
The earth is in the background, but it's also in you. That is the strong pose I've wanted to see from an earth model this round since I personally feel that the earth element should invoke strength. I'm fine with the dress. Possibly wish it was a different color just for the theme. Maybe a dark brown, as long as it didn't blend into the background. I'm fine with the makeup this round and it's helping give your eyes the necessary intensity for this photo.
