Welcome, girls, to your first Photoshoot of the cycle! You ready for this?
As you can tell, there are 16 of you here. That's... a lot. So we're going to start things off without a hitch: Two of you will be leaving this round.
Today's theme is something simple, natural, and beautiful: The Four Classic Elements. They are Earth, Air/Wind, Fire, and Water. Each of you will pick one of those four elements to submit a photo for - of course, with a twist. Only four of you can choose each element. Each element will then become a "team" for this round only - meaning you're free to help each other select the perfect image from your shoot. I will be creating boards for this and one of us will give you access as soon as you pick your element.
The two teams with the highest amount of cumulative points will be immune from elimination this round. The girl from each of the lowest-scoring teams will be eliminated. Meaning if you do poorly but your team does well, you're safe.
Just to reiterate a few things: There are no second photos this season, so once you've submitted a photo, that's what you have. There is no Redemption House, which means when you're out, you're not coming back. There is ONLY the judges' save, and we will NOT be using it this round.
Also, it is time for all of you to start exalting and smiting each other. The Karma Wars reward challenge IS ON STARTING RIGHT NOW! This lasts for 24 hours, as detailed in the Reward forum.
We'll be giving you 48 hours to submit your photo. If 48 hours is not enough and you want an extension, just ask!
As you can see, being successful does not always equate to obviousness; although nobody picked Fire in cycle 5, you can translate a fiery passion into your photo. Remember: Arguing why your photo works with that element goes a LONG way. That helped Natalie. If you convince us to see what you see, we will see it. If you post a photo with no explanation, we may not see it and may hate it. Give us that appreciation!
