We're allowed to have nipples?! I'm sorry, but I do recall a certain celebrity getting eliminated for having a nipple pointing through a shirt while still fully covered, and yet fully baring them out for all to see is okay? That is NOT okay. H'alright. I debated for a long time about whether to respond to this or not, because goodness knows the last thing I want is a repeat of ANTM9, but since Dita's opinion is evidently quite popular, I'ma just go ahead and say my piece. I'm personally addressing my reply to Dita, but it's more of an open-ended response to everybody who agrees with her. #1 - You yourself said that there's a significant difference between tasteful nudity and hoochiness. I thought it was tasteful. So did the judges. #2 - Dunno if you've noticed, but I've been getting my ass kicked this entire season. Last shoot, I got told that I should have looked harder after I told the judges that there was no electricity in my house. I also got no negative comments on this photoshoot, and still got third, which means that even when I do everything right, I still don't FCO because the judges simply like other people more. I've personally disagreed with a number of the judges' decisions over the past three cycles, but I recognize that the judging process is what it is. #3 - The "You could/couldn't do that in another cycle, therefore you can't/can do it now" argument is completely out of place here. My round one submission had almost the exact same styling and layout that won Amber FCO in Elementals way back when, and I got eighth. And let's not even get into how many Covergirl FCOs didn't get nailed with the "It looks like it's for another company" garbage that nearly got me eliminated as Liv. Judges change their minds and their standards like nobody's business. Stuff that would be considered "exquisite high fashion" by one season's panel is just "too weird" for another. Stuff that would get you eliminated in other cycles will get you FCO this time around. #4 - I really shouldn't have to point this out, but you have friends who are giving you points, and you're getting called out in the top three every freakin' round. Not to mention, you beat me in this shoot. So, complaining about my photo is a bit like Donald Trump bitching that he has to pay more taxes than a homeless guy. In conclusion. Yep, I got great rankings for doing something that y'all don't like. But who cares? I'm destined to either get a terrible finish, or I'll do what so many other models with lousy averages have done and make it far as "the one who everyone knows has no shot but still avoids getting eliminated." Dita, you're going to beat me either way, so leave me alone. Everybody else, feel free to use this as an excuse to go "Well, if Monica got away with that, I can totally get away with this." when you're submitting your next photo. There's no point in disagreeing with the results, so you're better off just filing away the information and using it to your own advantage. |

Can someone please educate me why
The biggest mistake in this photo is the imprint of a nipple through the shirt, being it not suitable for a competition.
A photo of David beckham nude from the side (not showing anything) was not allowed to be played because it might get the forum deleted.
This photo is as nude as you can get before pro boards deletes the forum.
But Monica's jumblies are allowed to be hanging out all over the place, no problem?
Oh Monica, we seem to have posted at the same timish (my post took a few minutes to make via iPhone), but I must point out that your photo is in clear violation of Proboatds ToS.

Looks like we have a little issue with ProBoards... Monica, apparently you're in trouble with the ProBoards TOU for the image you posted. Mneh. I haven't received any threatening emails from them, and my account still appears to be functional. From now on I'll keep it PG-13, though, just to be on the safe side. |

That was probably because Adele made the offending post, and your posts in your confessional can't be reported by guests and outsiders. Make sense?
FYI - my photo was probably left alone because i edited it to look like she's wearing a nude bra and panties...
Ps. My tiff was not with you, but with the judges.

I'm sick. I didn't see that little detail. I was judging in a pretty altered state of mind. Not like I had a choice. Totally my fault I missed that. :/
Dita, I suggest you remove that photo. They may object to it for all I know.

I never had a problem on my site with nudes, maybe because I made my site for Adults? Not sure. Was the photo itself reported? Weird, first time for everything, never seen that happen before. And most games I've played, judged or hosted on were all proboards

I don't even remember what shoot I wanted to use that picture for. I just remember thinking that it was quite possibly the best photo I had to use for that shoot and I was disappointed that I couldn't use it. You and I have had this discussion about nudity before. I have no problem with nudity as long as it's tastefully done. I was a bit worried about the nipples showing in Monica's picture because of Proboards' policy. However, beyond that, I actually had no problem with it. I gave Monica a high ranking this round (2nd, with Dita being first on my list). That's right in line with the discussion you and I had about nudity where we both said we didn't have a problem with nude photos. When it comes to comparing it to previous Cycles and what the judges did there, that argument shouldn't affect me. I was not a judge in Cycle 7 when the nipple thing got Angelina eliminated (to my benefit since I would have been out had Angelina been ranked higher). Also, I played as David Beckham and I wanted to use a nude and wasn't allowed to. So, just because other judges haven't allowed it in the past doesn't mean I am going to rank someone low for it. I am not those other judges. I am fine with tasteful nudity even if others aren't. |

You know I'm fine with tasteful nudity, but Adle and Natalie both judged cycle 7, and made comments about the nipple through the shirt, but didn't when Monica's were hanging out all over the place.
