I'm sorry, I totally always respect judges' decisions even when I don't agree, but I do want to state my opinion.
I personally do not see either Kirsten (my fave) or Eliza as a CoverGirl ad. But I especially don't see Monica's being one. Her hair is messy, she looks nude and...........and........I just don't see it. Dita's was gorgeous!!! She should've gotten first. Actually Kate's was gorgeous! BAH!!!
I said this in another game and I'll say it here.............my only complaint with these types of games is that scores are what send a girl home.
Some hosts do bottom score goes home
Some hosts do averages of the bottom two
And some hosts (like myself) vote on the bottom two. The reason I use the voting system is because in my first game, I used the bottom score left, and someone who ranked in the top three the whole game went home because of one lousy photoshoot. And that sucks more than anything. And a weak model who just barely escaped elimination every round, made the final two. It just happened to me in another game and the host is now thinking of incorporating my idea for her next season.
But because it's how you run your game, I always respect the final decision. It sucks, and I hope Ayumi will not drop out of All Stars because I love Ayumi!
You girls had this game in the bag, you were robbed, love you both!!!!
Now just pray Kirsten doesn't have one bad round.

I love the bottom 2 concepts. The scores will only determine the bottom 2 and the judges will vote which girl should stay and go. Thank you for your ideas, Danielle.

I can confirm that the following people aren't playing all-stars. Ayumi, SMG, Gwen (Because she's sticking to judge.) January, Rose and possibly Dianna. And also Kirsten, Eliza and Dita. This leaves Cycle 9: Charlize, Katy, Emmy Cycle 10: Liv, Katie, Zoe ((Dianna)) Cycle 11: Monica, Marion Kate had no intention of playing all-stars at all. |

Danielle, like I said before, Kate had a gorgeous photo that did not sell the product. In a CoverGirl shot, that's a pretty big thing for all of us.
Dita's did nothing for me in any department and I'm not the only one who ranked her to be eliminated. 3/4 of us did. And one first place was not enough to save Kate... who I'm still sad to eliminate.
I have made a suggestion to our host on how to change the way this round works since people clearly think portfolios are more important for picking the finalists than the CoverGirl round itself. I can see the argument and I have suggested a dual ranking system for the round - in addition to what we normally do, we rank portfolios on the +5, +4, +3, +2, +1 scale and add it to the photo total so both count equally. Mine would have looked like this:
+5 Kirsten
+4 Kate
+3 Dita
+2 Monica
+1 Eliza
Presuming the other judges ranked similarly, Dita probably still would have been out.
I like it when my brain gets picked xD

I totally agree Danielle. I wouldn't have been mad if Dita made it to the finals over me because she was a strong model. But Monica was the weakest out of them all. It was like a slap in the face when she stayed. The past 2 cycle a strong model always get bumped by a weaker model.
Gwen bumped Emmy, Katie bumped Rachel and now Monica bumped Dita and myself. However Gwen and Katie had good enough pics to bump them. Monica's photo was just gross.

Hence, I think my proposed system could easily make it so that doesn't happen, and the late-game round is weighted evenly with all the rounds before it combined. I happened to like Monica's photo. I have different opinions than you. Is hers one of my favorite CoverGirl shots ever? No. In fact, judging this one was HARD, but I had to go based on the photos. If I hadn't, wouldn't that have made me biased? |

Had I ranked the portfolios, off-hand, Dita probably would have been first on my list. She might have stayed, but who knows. I'm only one judge.

Thankfully it's not as atrocious in that department as a certain photo from Cycle 7.. At least it was memorable  Did I missed something or she was almost eliminated few photoshoots earlier? It's a bit funny that models from cycle 11 are already turning down offers for AS while they haven't been picked yet. You didn't miss anything. I caught that too, but couldn't say anything because of, you know... This x1000 If we can get enough people for All-Stars, we're going to make it happen and finish the series the proper way. That's what most people want, am I wrong? |

I wasn't going to play in All Stars cause I prefer judging. I remember how frustrated I was playing as Gwen cause my opinion didn't match up with the judges. Fun Fact: Dita/Ayumi told me she went back and ranked the portfolios and had it been up to her, I would have won as Gwen. Instead, I was for sure third with the actual judges that season |

It was like a slap in the face when she stayed. Not looking to start a fight, but I actually am not sure that I was the weakest model. I was definitely doing better than Eliza for quite a while, I was ranked higher than her for seven out of twelve rounds, and I only lost to her by a margin of four points. I'm also going to point out that strong models getting "bumped" is by no means a new thing with Covergirl. Season eight caused several long-time players to be completely furious when Taylor and Rihanna got eliminated. It happens a lot. |
